Community Outreaches

A financial awareness and literacy advocacy program at market centers in Maseru CBD and in other districts for street vendors, dressmakers, hawkers, saloons as well as remote and rural communities in Lesotho. This helps with grassroot information, which guides the strategies on how to equip and educate these groups of people to become financially aware and literate and to help them plan their finances. These outreaches will be held twice a year, in April during Financial Literacy Month and six months later, in October during Estate and Gift Planning Awareness Month.

Financial Literacy Challenge

There will be a yearly Financial Literacy Challenge for High School Students to compete among themselves on financial awareness and literacy contents, researches, fun activities and lifelong initiatives. This challenge will commence in July every year and ends in August.

Leseli Financial Literacy Institute was founded with the main purpose of promoting financial awareness to the Basotho Nation and equip them with necessary skills to effectively manage personal or business finances.
